Hi I'm Annabel, but most people call me Bel

Spoiler alert, I've decided to start up my own blog!

Despite being a renowned waffler amongst those that know me best, I feel somewhat unsure of where to begin. What information is seen as being essential for readers to know? And what, on the other hand, is highly irrelevant? I wonder should my stance on marmite be disclosed this early on, or do I tell you that I'm a lover at a later point? Is the fact that I'm twenty-two important, or is age merely a number? Or perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself assuming that anyone would be crazy enough to delve even a little bit into my world, and read what will likely be an unapologetically chaotic blog!

So, why did I decide to start a blog? Well it's something that I've wanted to do for a long while, and what with everything that's happening in the world right now, it seemed to me like the perfect time to create a space which can be used both as a creative outlet for myself, but also, I hope, as somewhere for others to escape to. I want it to be a place where I can document various aspects of my life, from the adventures I find myself embarking on, be them big or small, to slightly more personal journeys and experiences.

In recent years I have followed many truly exceptional bloggers/vloggers and been greatly inspired by the unique content that they have each created! It seems whether they focus on cooking/baking, mental health, veganism/vegetarianism, travelling, body/skin positivity or otherwise, there is one notable trait that draws me to them all, honesty. For me the most positive content is that which is completely transparent in nature and reflective of life in all its colours. The kind of content which shatters the idea of a 'perfect' life and instead portrays something far more real and relatable. Having personally gained so much from this type of content, I am keen to ensure that whatever I put out into the world is authentic and shows the ups, downs and in betweens of my life, but that it's also always a bit of bel.
